Two awards for Viny at the Media Festival!!
After three years of being elected, Best Male Broadcaster in Lebanon, Viny Roumy did again!
At the 4th Media Festival Viny Roumy was awarded two prestigious awards for his contribution in the radio industry in Lebanon. The awards ceremony was held last night at the Unesco Palace in Beirut, where the LU students, headed by chief faculty Dr. Habib Rammal, announced this years winners among all the media companies and broadcasters in Lebanon.
The most prestigious award for Viny was the Best Male Broadcaster and the second award was Best Male Radio Voice! Moreover, Sawt El Ghad radio, Viny's second home, swept Best Entertaining Programming. Colleague, Rima Njeim, was awarded Best Radio Female Voice without much competition! Last but not least, the Sawt El Ghad website www.sawtelghad.com got Best Media Website among all media in Lebanon!

Viny at the BahrainFrand Prx
It was fast and loud weekend in Bahrain, with the hosting of the Formula One at the Bahrain International Circuit. Viny Roumy was on location, covering the heated race with live reporting on Sawt El Ghad International Radio. (Check out the pictures in the photoalbum!)
The Bahrain Grand Prix ended up with the first place for Fernando Alonso (Renault) at 1h29m46.205s, while second place went to Michael Schumacher (Ferrari) and finally the 3rd place for McLaren’s Kimi Raikkonen!
Viny said he had a great time at the Grand Prix, and added that "watching it on TV is nothing compared to the real thing...!!"

Album Launch in Lebanon, Shayba Nightclub
On Monday October 3, Viny threw an event in the occasion of the launching of his new album “Viny”. The album launch party took place at the Kaslik nightclub, Shayba in the presence of many celebrities, journalists, colleagues, friends and family.
Viny’s arrival to the venue caught everyone by surprise since he entered totally disguised with a beard, long hair and an old-fashioned trenchcoat!!! Once he got on stage, the camera flashes and surprised looks took over everyone! One by one, Viny removed the items of his disguise to reveal his identity while saying that “Tonight is a night to speak about love…and when we speak about such a noble thing, we must remove our daily masks and defenses and stand real…”.
After his surprise arrival, Viny spoke of an amazing love story as he always does in his program Ciel. Following the huge round of applause from his story-telling, journalists present were given the chance to ask questions and say their opinions regarding the album. Of course, Viny also made a point in expressing everyone's empathy and support for the collegue May Chidiak, who is still recuperating at the hospital since the attack on her life earlier this monthFinally, the guests were entertained by hearing a selection of songs and stories from the CD, and by watching the latest video clip of “Darb El Hawa” which features Viny in the leading role next to Dina Hayek. .
After cutting the CD-shaped cake, Viny was congratulated by the guests and interviewed in private by the present TV’s, radios, magazines and newspapers. |

Signing Session in Amman
After the release of his debut album with Rotana, Viny Roumy launched his CD entitled "Viny" in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. The launch in Jordan took place at the Prime MegaStore in Mecca with the presence of media, colleagues and of course the many fans who came to meet Viny in person. In fact, Viny admitted that his expectations were exceeded in the reception he received by the Jordanian people who follow his programs on Rotana TV and Sawt El Ghad radio.
Viny started off the gathering, by narrating a heartrending story that ltruly left the attendees touched...This was followed by questions from the televisions, magazines and newspapers covering the event. Finally, Viny met with the crowd and signed his autograph on pictures, CD’s, and even some handkerchiefs!!
The album Viny, was released early September and is already at the top ranks of albums in Lebanon and the near by Arab countries.

Viny's album is finally out!!
